Notice: Fraud Alert

To anyone receiving a request to transfer/send funds to Creation Technologies:

In recent months, Creation Technologies has been the victim of a sophisticated cheque fraud scheme.

Fraudulent cheques bearing the name “Creation Technologies Wisconsin Inc.” and appearing to bear proper officers’ signatures have been circulated for purchases of various consumer goods and/or services. The perpetrators of the scheme have issued cheques for an amount greater than the actual cost of the goods or services, then requested that the excess funds be returned to them through a wire transfer of funds or money order.

Names that have been used in conjunction with the fraudulent cheques include Brian T. Foster and Patricia Kingsolver and e-mail addresses include david@orriso.com, owner@charuze.com, patricia@ingsolv.com.

These perpetrators claim to be employees of Creation Technologies but are not presently, nor have they ever been, employed here. Their e-mail addresses do not comply with Creation Technologies’ e-mail address naming conventions, nor is the address to which they request that the cheques be sent a Creation Technologies address.

Anyone who receives a suspected fraudulent cheque should immediately contact our Finance Department at 414.761.6527 to report this matter.

We are actively monitoring this situation and reporting all cases to the appropriate law enforcement officials. If you receive what you believe to be a fraudulent cheque, please contact your local law enforcement agency as well as filing a complaint with:
