Karen Armendariz – Director of Business Development: Dallas Area
Karen is a longtime Dallas resident with a broad range of skills and an outstanding record of relationship development across the manufacturing and electronics sectors. Karen has over 20 years in various roles in engineering, operations and business development for companies such as National Semiconductor, Intel and Goodyear. Karen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, and MBA from Oklahoma City University.

John Earle – Director of Business Development: Eastern Canada
John comes to Creation with more than 10 years of experience in business development, marketing and media. Prior to his experience in the EMS field, John was responsible for technical business development for a large software and ASP company focused on payroll and human resources. John’s creativity and strength in customer-focused roles has enabled him to build proven sales and marketing strategies across a variety of industries. A successful entrepreneur, John also mentors young Ontario business start-ups through the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. John is fluent in French and English, has an educational background in Canadian History, and resides in Cornwall, Ontario.

Joe Garcia – Director of Business Development: Northern California and Nevada
Joe has a wealth of experience with the rapid pace of technology advancement in Silicon Valley. Joe joins Creation with expertise in multiple markets including communications, medical and environmental, and has been a force in the Bay Area EMS and PCB industries for more than a decade. With a track record of sales leadership and deepening customer relationships, Joe has held key roles in business development with several Tier 1 EMS providers. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from California State University, Northridge, and resides in the Bay Area.

Kathy Thomson – Director of Business Development: Minnesota, North & South Dakota and Iowa
Kathy joins Creation with a diverse background. Most recently coming from North America’s largest non-captive metal finishing, where she served as Director of Business Development and marketing in the EMS industry with a Tier 1 provider, and also has a background in sales, marketing and customer service in the telecommunications and transportation industries. Resident in Wisconsin, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and MBA from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
